Preserving a Living Connecticut Tradition

Friends of 2GHG Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in direct support of the Second Company Governor’s Horse Guard. The Friends works alongside troopers and community supporters to raise funds and provide resources for the unit’s horses, Newtown facility, traditions, public education, and community activities.

The Second Company Governor’s Horse Guard was chartered in 1808 and continues its mounted military, ceremonial, and public-service mission today.
